This library way finding system was created while working as part of a team for the Murray State University Waterfield Library. Our proposal was to utilize big type, massive graphics, and solid blocks of color to create a bold, easy to navigate and eye-catching system. The typeface, Helvetica, was chosen because of its ability to read easily from near and far away. The cyan color that was chosen is included in Murray State’s brand guide as an accent color, but is still a variation from Murray State’s navy and gold primary colors.
